This innovative tool looks like a normal flatbed
when it is not in use. When the bed is in
use, its hydraulic arms can grip any size
round bale, then load them onto the bed, transport
them safely anywhere and can unroll that bale
in the field. All of this from the comfort
and safety of the truck cab.
This remarkable way of feeding hay has many
advantages over using a tractor and feeding
hay in round bale feeders. The first thing
you will notice is the increased speed at
which you can feed cattle. Also, the field
in which you feed hay will not be as torn
up with ruts that a tractor can cause vs.
the higher flotation tires that a 4 wheel
drive truck offers.

The
biggest difference in feeding with a bale
bed is that your cattle can eat on the clean
ground every day, just like they were grazing.
You decide where to feed, not day after the
day in the same muddy area. The result of
this decision will be that the cattle will
not tear up a spot in the pasture where the
round bale feeder is, and calves will not
be exposed to pathogens that can lead to scours
as nearly much. This is because they will
not have the opportunity to lay in mud and
manure. Also, animals do not have to eat hay
that dropped onto the ground and it is contaminated
with bacteria around the bale feeder. If you
use round bale feeders you can move them with
ease.

A Deweze bale bed can be installed on any
3/4 ton or higher truck chassis, single wheel
or dually. The hydraulic pump is engine driven
right off the normal drive belt(s). All other
components are contained in the bed. All beds
come with a two year warranty. Let us show
you how we can help you feed hay a better
way this winter!
The
Deweze product line is very large from normal
flatbeds, to the Super Slicer, to the Bale
Hugger. Check out what SMCC has in stock!

T&S
Cattle Feeders are a unique and highly accurate
way to dispense any type of cattle feed into
a trough or in piles on the ground. The feeder
meters out a prescribed amount of feed and
than that amount registers on the counter
located in the cab of the truck. These feeders
come in four different capacity sizes from
300# to 3000# that are truck mounted. There
are also a 3000# and 6000# capacity trailer
mounted versions. The feeder can be loaded
with a front loader, conveyor, or by bags.
All of the T&S feeders are electrically
driven by a constant duty motor which drives
an oil bath gear reduction (60:1) to the chain
drive system. Check
